Be car smart

Antifreeze can be deadly for dogs and cats, so carefully watch your pets in the garage and driveway. Clean up any spills or drips right away, and look for antifreeze brands that contain propylene glycol instead of the more toxic ethylene glycol. Propylene glycol has a bitter taste and is less tempting for pets to want to sample. If you take your pet in the car, don’t leave him in there alone. An unheated car can get lethally cold for a four-legged friend.
