Take your sweetie skiing or give her tango lessons as a gift — anything that gets you both moving. David L. Katz, MD, founding director of Yale University’s Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center, recommends a gym membership, dance classes (“ballroom, for instance, is very romantic,” he notes), yoga classes or even some hiking boots or snow shoes as thoughtful gifts that will get his or her heart racing (or at least working hard).
