Brew up a love potion with breakfast.

If breakfast in bed is part of your plan, put green tea on that tray. It contains a flavonoid called epigallocatechin-3-gallate. Researchers in China found that EGCG reduced the buildup of plaque in artery walls. Sipping EGCG-rich green tea can also lead to a “statistically significant reduction in LDL and total cholesterol,” according to a 2011 review of 20 well-designed green tea studies.
